Fabric & Craft Bond comes in three adhesion grades


  • PERMANENT
  • TEMPORARY
      Great for quilting!!!
      (Adhesion washes out)
  • STAY-IN-PLACE
      Double sided:
           Side 1 = Tacky for temporary position
           Side 2 = Non-tacky that can be drawn upon

Tips for Success:


• Pre-wash • Wash in LUKEWARM water
• DO NOT Overheat • DO NOT use fabric softener
• Wash on delicate cycle • DO NOT dry clean
• Tumble dry on COOL temperature




Fabric & Craft Bond OR Adhesive INSTRUCTIONS


STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS


Attaching adhesive to fabric:

  1. 1. Pre-wash fabric
  2. 2. Pre-test on similar fabric
  3. 3. Use clothing iron on Silk setting (use Dry iron)
  4. 4. Place adhesive against the fabric and iron down on the paper-backed side and press lightly for 1-2 seconds. The iron will melt the fabric adhesive to the back of the material being used
  5. 5. Remove paper backer

Attaching adhesives-backed item to another surface:

  1. 1. Lay adhesive-backed material onto the surface it will be bonded on by placing the adhesive side down
  2. 2. Iron for 4-6 seconds
  3. NOTE: Ironing time may need to be increased for heavier materials or when using several layers of material
